The online investment platform said the contracts will trade on the CFTC-regulated KalshiEX and clear through Kalshi Klear, starting with Bitcoin and other crypto assets for customers approved for futures trading.

Online investment platform Webull announced on October 20, 2026, that it will offer perpetual futures to qualifying U.S. customers starting in November.

Bitcoin and other crypto assets make up the initial lineup. Webull anticipates broader availability before year-end, with more products to follow, subject to the applicable regulatory review and exchange listing requirements.

The contracts will be listed on KalshiEX LLC, a Designated Contract Market regulated by the CFTC, with clearing through Kalshi Klear LLC, a CFTC-regulated Derivatives Clearing Organization.

How the contracts work

Webull describes perpetual futures, or perps, as futures contracts that track an underlying asset with no fixed expiration date, giving the holder continuous exposure. Unlike traditional futures, holders need not track expiry dates or move positions into fresh contracts. A periodic funding mechanism is designed to keep the contract price in line with the underlying asset, so a position can be held open as long as applicable margin requirements are met.

Positions carry periodic funding payments, and automatic liquidation follows if margin drops below maintenance requirements. Webull cautions that perpetual futures carry significant risk and are not appropriate for every investor.

Access and eligibility

Initially, only qualifying U.S. customers approved for futures trading will have access. They will use their existing Webull Futures accounts, where the contracts will sit alongside the platform’s other futures products. Customers keep their existing access to stocks, options, crypto and prediction markets across the broader Webull platform.

Executive statements

Anthony Denier, Group President and U.S. CEO of Webull, said: “Perpetual futures have become a significant part of global derivatives markets, with annual volume reaching more than $90 trillion in 2025.” He said that as the market grows, U.S. investors should have access to the product through a regulated platform familiar to them.

Tanmay Sheth, Managing Director of the FCM, Futures and Prediction Markets at Webull, said: “We see an opportunity to combine the accessibility of a modern brokerage platform with the infrastructure and risk controls required for leveraged derivatives.” He said users get clear visibility into funding rates, margin requirements, leverage and liquidation levels, and described bringing more derivatives activity into a regulated, onshore framework as an important step as the U.S. market evolves.
